Part Time Admissions
eDCSD Online offers part-time admissions for DCSD students attending a school in the district.
- Students may take 1-2 classes with eDCSD each quarter
- Courses may be taken for acceleration or replacement credit
- Must be signed and approved by a primary school counselor or admin
- Primary school counselor submits the application to eDCSD and receives a confirmation of submission.
- Please see primary school counselors for receipt of application questions.
- Welcome information will be sent 2 days before the start of the quarter.

What to Expect in an eDCSD Online Course
- Live scheduled virtual class meeting per week, 1 per HS course, 2 per MS course, 2 per Elementary course
- Virtual class meetings are recorded for later viewing
- Live virtual help sessions appointments available every week
- Teacher support by email, chat, phone, and additional requested virtual sessions
- 5-6 hours of coursework per week, per course
- Assignment due dates each week
- 1 assignment submitted each week for attendance
- Quarter grading system - grades posted to transcript each quarter

26/27 Part-Time Paperwork Deadlines
~ Quarter 1 Friday, August 19th, 2026 at 3 pm
~ Quarter 2 Friday, October 21st, 2026 at 3 pm
~ Quarter 3 Friday, January 6th, 2027 at 3 pm
~ Quarter 4 Friday, March 24th, 2027 at 3 pm
Add/Drop Deadlines: 2 weeks after the first day of admission.
Add/Drop after this date will result in a W/F on transcripts

To be eligible for Part-Time Student Admissions at eDCSD you must:
- Be enrolled full-time at a DCSD school
- Take 1-2 classes per quarter
- Continue taking courses at your neighborhood school
If you are interested in being a Part-Time student at eDCSD, please print out and complete the application. Make sure your counselor has signed your application prior to submission.
*All paperwork must be submitted by 3 PM on the deadline.

***At this time, we are not able to loan out computers to part-time students.
All PT students need to make sure they have a computer that is compatible for use or make arrangements with their home school campuses.
